Atypical-speech mode can now be set for your voice, the other side, or both

Long calls always get their summary now. Before, a call past about ten minutes could sometimes save with “The summary couldn't be written”.
Decisions and follow-ups are kept in full on very long calls, and repeated lines are merged.

Pop out a mini window that floats above your call: the voice ball, the live line, Mark and Pause, and a button to put it back in the menu bar.
Choose the quiet minute's sound: Breath, Ocean, Rain, Singing bowl or Soft keys. Each one breathes at the same calm pace, with a preview in Settings.
Appearance setting: follow the Mac, or keep Afterword in light or dark.

Copy a follow-up email from any note: summary, decisions and next steps, formatted to paste into Mail or Gmail.
If your Documents folder syncs to iCloud Drive, new notes now go to ~/Afterword so they stay on your Mac, and Settings tells you when a folder syncs.
Cleaner icon buttons under a saved note.

On a one-on-one call, the other person's name from your calendar invite replaces Them, in the live view, the note and the summary.
The after-call cleanup also removes filler (um, uh, like, you know), false starts and repeated words.
A quick first-run tip: press Record now and say a few words to see your first note.

Write down my voice too can be turned off, so only the other people are written down and your microphone isn't used.
Set the language you speak and the language they speak, and Afterword translates them into yours as they talk, on your Mac.
After the call, Apple Intelligence can rewrite the transcript into clear sentences and fix misheard words. The word-for-word version stays in the note.
More filler sounds are left out of notes (ah, eh, hm, uh-huh, mm-hmm).
The meeting's audio is mixed from both stereo channels, so no voice is lost.
